NASCAR Cup Series
Key storylines: Tyler Reddick looks to go back-to-back at Michigan International Speedway as he’s the defending FireKeepers Casino 400 champion. Reddick’s win the No. 45 23XI Racing Toyota broke a win streak previously held by the OEM Ford of nine Cup Series wins in a row. Chris Buescher is the 2023 FireKeepers Casino 400 winner and finished 6th in the 2024 event as he looks to continue his hot streak of running up front at MIS. 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Ryan Blaney has three top 10 finishes at MIS since 2021 including a visit to victory lane that year. Kyle Larson looks to propel Chevrolet to their first Cup Series victory at MIS since 2017, when Larson completed a three-peat Cup Series wins from 2016-2017 (two victories in 2017 at MIS).
