Hallmark is partnering with the Grand Ole Opry for an upcoming original holiday film, A Grand Ole Opry Christmas, which is set to premiere during Hallmark’s 16th annual “Countdown to Christmas” event. The movie stars Nikki DeLoach and Kristoffer Polaha, and will feature guest appearances by a variety of Opry stars that will be announced soon. The film continues the ongoing celebration of the Opry’s 100th anniversary, with the Hallmark collaboration also featuring an exclusive line of Opry-themed holiday merchandise, including greeting cards, apparel, accessories, jewelry, and gifts, which will be available for purchase later this year. Country superstar Brad Paisley, a longtime Opry member, will write and perform original music for the film, as well as record the official anthem for Hallmark’s seasonal promotional campaign. “As the Grand Ole Opry celebrates its 100th birthday this year, this is the perfect time for us to partner with this beloved, iconic American institution and create Christmas magic together,” says Darren Abbott, Hallmark’s chief brand officer.
